Mindfulness with Diane Lesley
Life today is challenging for young people and adults. The stress and anxiety that we experience can keep us from doing our best and may cause us to respond in ways that may make things worse. It can also have negative consequences for our important relationships. This is 3-part workshop.

Mindfulness Practice to Reduce Stress and Anxiety (for scholars and parents)
January 15, March 5, and March 19
12:30p – 1:30p
Life today is challenging for young people and adults. The stress and anxiety that we experience can
keep us from doing our best and may cause us to respond in ways that may make things worse. It can
also have negative consequences for our important relationships. In this 3-part workshop, you will learn
informal mindfulness skills that can help you effectively manage stress and anxiety, control your actions,
and choose to respond rather than react. You will experience mindfulness as a practice that helps you
remain focused and balanced even in the most challenging of times.
