About the event
Through the L.E.E.P TO COLLEGE FOUNDATION program, scholars transform from students into civic architects by examining community issues through a critical lens and gaining a deep understanding of the systemic structures that govern society. By mastering advocacy skills, such as public speaking, policy analysis, and persuasive writing, you learn to navigate these civic systems effectively, ensuring your insights lead to tangible results. Influence is rarely a solo endeavor; it is built through the power of collaboration, where you work alongside peers and community members to co-create sustainable solutions to complex problems. Ultimately, this journey is about building a "civic identity," recognizing that your role as a scholar carries a lifelong responsibility to participate in democracy and lead with a voice that is informed, empathetic, and strategically prepared to drive real-world change.
