VOICES OF THE FUTURE: THE DREAM B.I.G. PODCAST
L2C’s vision is education empowerment through equitable access to social, emotional, and
financial literacy for the low to moderate income and minority youth we serve in Prince George’s, Montgomery Counties, and the District of Columbia.
Our programs focus on meeting students where they are, allowing L2C to advance hands-on learning and mentoring, in which students explore the real-life applicability of their learning with the goal of on-time high school graduation and college acceptance and completion.
L.E.E.P INTO THE FUTURE
This out-of-school-time, year-round program supports middle and high school students with a College and Career Readiness curriculum designed to boost high school graduation rates, college matriculation, and career exploration through real-world experiences such as internships.
Students gain:

Life skills like time management and service learning

College preparation, including SAT prep and a week-long, multi-state college tour

Career preparation, including job training and summer internships

Academic support through case management and one-on-one mentoring
MY MENTAL + MY HEALTH = MATTERS
This mental wellness initiative empowers middle and high school students with emotional resilience, prevention, and personal growth strategies. Guided by licensed therapists, the program includes:

Education on safe dating, healthy eating, sleep, stress, and trauma coping mechanisms

Structured programs focused on suicide prevention, anxiety management, and depression prevention.

B.I.G. PODCAST
Voices of the Future: B.I.G. Podcast
Launched initially as a student-led service project during the COVID-19 pandemic, the B.I.G. (Bridging Into Greatness) Podcasts have become a powerful platform for student
voice and creativity. Through podcasting, Prince George’s County students develop communication, research, tech, and storytelling skills.
